Similar to the TBS-60, The TBS-60A is more of a Universal box for compact and mid range pickups. It will fit most all compact and midrange American and Import trucks. The bottom has two 6 3/8" high angles that allow the box to clear fenderwells giving this box a more Universal fit. This low profile pickup single lid pickup truck tool box are built tough from thick 0.63" aluminum tred. The body of this truck box is welded, but most edges are bent and rolled around for durability and to make it weatherproof. You will not see daylight through any seam. The top lid is super solid with a foam injected core that is sandwiched between a smooth .050" pan and attached with a riveted, full length stainless steel piano hinge. This tough design helps insulate from moisture, heat, and cold.

Two stainless steel latches with strikers secure the lid down and is keyset lockable, which is located on the drivers side. Once unlocked, heavy duty Gas Cylinders lift and hold the lid up 90 degrees, and are placed on the outer edge of the box for clean uncluttered storage. This single lid design provides ease of accessibility and better visibility of items and tools placed within. It allows maximum storage space for longer items that the Gullwing designed boxes simply cannot store. Plus an included tool tray slides the length of the box to store small parts and tools. With this box, You are no longer restricted to the sides of the box, everything you need is right in front.

Attaching the TBS-60A to the truck is easy. The box uses "J-bolt" installation and Installation Instructions are provided. Even gaskets are included to keep a tight seal, and of course, so it won't scratch your truck. Any handy man could accomplish this task.
